Powered by Active.com, The Great Outdoors allows you to find campsites anywhere in the United States. Working from your current location, GO! will show you all campsites in your vicinity. It is also possible to search for specific locations for camping facilities.

Have specific requirements for you camping? Great Outdoors allows you to specify these requirements and will filter the campsites it shows you accordingly. For example:

Choose your site type (RV, cabins, tents, trailers, day usage, horse sites, boat sites, etc.);
Make sure the site can accommodate your trailer by specifying its length;
Specify the number of campers in your party;
Specify the electrical hookup you require.

Additionally you can filter those sites that:
Allow pets;
Have water, sewerage and electricity hookups;
Are on the waterfront;
Have pullthrough driveways.

Once you have found a suitable site in your required location, GO! gives you useful details about the site, along with warnings and alerts. In most cases photos are available for campsites and a list of on-site and local amenities helps you choose your site.

Contact details for the site as well as the ranger station for emergencies is also listed, and there is a direct link to Reserve America to book your site once you are happy with your choice.
